Sublimation on wood: how do you do it?

sublimation on wood

Not all items are suitable for sublimation printing, unless they’ve been specially treated.

To render an item suitable for sublimation printing, there’s a particular product you can use: Subli Prep.

Its purpose is to treat items that aren’t suitable for sublimation printing (i.e. that aren’t made of polyester or haven’t already been prepared for sublimation) such as metal, glass, wood, ceramics and so on.

Simply spray the Subli Prep onto the surface you intend to use sublimation printing on.

The spray must be applied to the item evenly, starting from the top and moving from left to right as you progress towards the bottom.

Before proceeding with the definitive printing, we always recommend you carry out some tests to check that the result and resistance are as you expect.
