Screen Printing: How a Frame Exposure Unit Works

Screen Printing: How a Frame Exposure Unit Works

Welcome to a new video from CPL Fabbrika.

I am Federica and today we are going to see how a screen printing exposure unit works.

Whatever model or type of display unit it is, in order to be effective and to allow proper engraving, the screen printing exposure unit must meet three main requirements:

1. Have a light source, which can be cold white light or UV light

2. Have a constant distance, so the distance between the light source and the frame must always be the same, and

3. To have a pressure system (i.e. a presser) that allows the film positioned on the screen-printing frame to remain perfectly adherent to it, thus preventing light from passing through where it should not.
